Hoichoi is an Indian Over-the-top media service that offers Bengali original movies and web series and Hindi-dubbed shows. hoichoi is owned by Shree Venkatesh Films.[2][3][4][5] It was launched in September 2017[6] and currently available in iOS, Android, Web, Fire TV, Roku, and Google TV. The platform currently contains over 600+ movies and 135+ original web series for its subscribed users.[7]

Technology Partner[edit]

The content management system of this streaming service is powered by Viewlift. SVF gave the mandate to viewlift back in 2016.[8] Hoichoi platform uses SVOD model to monetize its paid content.

Content[edit]

Hoichoi platform offers free as well as paid streaming of movies and web series. It mostly focuses Bengali language content but also has some Hindi-dubbed web series with English subtitle. To watch premium content, users have to subscribe to the premium plans and enjoy a wide range of non-fiction, socio-drama, comedy, and horror movies and web series.[9] The content is available across all countries.[10]

Hoichoi Studios[edit]

In 2023, Hoichoi launched its own film studios named hoichoi studios.[11][12] Shri Swapankumarer Badami Hyenar Kobole is the first film produced by hoichoi.tv's own film studios.[13]
