Hooman Derakhshandeh (born January 1980 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian painter and visual artist. He paints about identity, memory, and social issues, especially about women’s roles in Iran. He mixes photo-based painting with symbolism and expressive figures.[1][2][3][4][5]
