House of Feuchtersleben
von Feuchtersleben is a German noble family originally from Hildburghausen.[1]
History[edit]
The family was first mentioned in the 13th century and settled at an early stage in Germany and Austria. It was one of the most important, oldest and richest noble families of the Kingdom of Germany.
The von Feuchtersleben family had an important role in Austrian history in the 19th and 18th centuries.
The Barons and Counts of Dyhrn[edit]
The Lords of Feuchter gained the title of Baron (Reichsfreiherr) in the 18th century from the Monarchy. There are only a few members of this family still living. All are living in Melbourne, Australia[2]
