Huat Ventures (legal name Huat Ventures Pte. Ltd.)[1] is a private Singaporean venture capital firm, founded in 2020 by Dennis Anthony Porto, Hyegi Chung, and Shalen De Silva. The company is headquartered in Singapore and invests in seed-stage companies across industries including digital assets, health tech, fintech, and SaaS.[2][3]
Dennis, Hyegi, and Shalen were Harvard classmates and founded Huat Ventures to invest in other classmates who were in the midst of starting their own companies. Since 2020, Huat Ventures has made investments in a dozen companies operating around the world and received particular acclaim for their investments in Docosan[4][5] and Umbrel.[6]
