Hugo Burdon is an Australian cricketer.
Early life[edit]
Burdon was raised on the Gold Coast, Queensland and began playing cricket for Surfers Paradise at a young age.[1] He graduated from The Southport School where he played a pivotal role in the school's First XI cricket team winning back-to-back-to-back Premierships in Queensland's prestigious GPS competition.[2] Burdon began playing Queensland Premier Cricket for the Gold Coast Dolphins in 2018 where he made his first grade debut at the age of 17.[3]
T20 career[edit]
Burdon signed to play with the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League in December 2021.[4]
International career[edit]
Burdon was named as a substitute fielder for the Australia national cricket team during the second test of the 2021–22 Ashes series.[5]
