Humanity Revolution Bangladesh[2] (Bengali: ইনসানিয়াত বিপ্লব বাংলাদেশ, romanized: Insaniyat Biplob Bangladesh, commonly known as Insaniyat), is a centre-left political party in Bangladesh founded by Allama Imam Hayat in 2010 and officially registered in 2023.[3]
History[edit]
Humanity Revolution Bangladesh was established in 2010 as a new political party in Bangladesh. After their initial application for registration was rejected in 2017, they successfully appealed and were registered following a Supreme Court decision.[4]
Symbol[edit]
The party uses the white rose as its official symbol but was assigned the apple symbol for elections due to a conflict with another party.[5] [6]
Election of 2018[edit]
In the 2018 election, Humanity Revolution Bangladesh fielded 8 independent candidates after their registration was initially rejected. None of the candidates won, and the party alleged election rigging.[7]
