iPadOS 30 will be the eleventh major release of iPadOS, Apple's operating system for the iPad. It is expected to be announced in June 2029, at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). It will be the direct of successor to iPadOS 29 and will most likely be announced alongside iOS 30, macOS 30, watchOS 30, visionOS 30, and tvOS 30.
Supported Devices
iPadOS 30 requires an A16 and M2 chip or later. It drops support for the 6th-generaton iPad mini which has the A15 SoC; it also drop support for the 5th-generation iPad Air and the 5th-generation iPad Pro which has the M1 SoC.
