Ian Patrick McCune (born June 29, 2004), known professionally as Ian McCune, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as the bassist, backing and occasional lead vocalist, as well as a provider of distorted vocals for Last Line. He has also played in several other bands, including Headrott. His nickname, Spider, developed among members of Last Line; they noticed his ability to move quickly like a spider and his notable skinniness.

Career

McCune began his professional career in 2018 (at age 14), although he had played in bands previously, with Nathan Winkler under various names such as: Schism, Spitball, and Summer Daze. They played with various other musicians, and in 2019 they played a show in which Ian met Thomas Clay Morris of Last Line.

Although he did not join at first, he continued playing with Winkler in the band known as Headrott before leaving in 2020 shortly after joining Last Line.

He has since remained in the band and has been featured in music videos, upcoming albums, and live shows.
