Ibrahim Muhammad Kankarofi is a Nigerian Politician and Administrator.
He is the Principal Private Secretary to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR.
Early life and education
Kankarofi was born in Kankarofi Quarter of Kano Municipal, the capital of Kano State.
Career

Politics
After his resignation from the Civil Service as Permanent Secretary Special Service, Kankarofi joined the Kano State gubernatorial race[1] under the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) in 2010, which later merged to the All Progressive Congress (APC). They were re-elected on 27 April 2011 and sworn in on 29 May 2011 for a second term in office.
Principal Private Secretary
Kankarofi was initially appointed as Special Adviser, Governmental Affairs[2]. After seeing his performance, His Excellency Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje sacked his former Principal Private Secretary, Usman Bala, and appointed Kankarofi[3] on the 28th of May 2016.
