Ideal Central Public School, Patsa is a private co-educational day school in Samastipur Bihar, India. It is run by the Vina Educational Trust. The school was founded in 2002. The school's first principal was Mr. L.N. Jha. The foundation stone of the school building was laid in 2000 by Sri Mani Kant Jha, the founder of school.

The school follows the Central Board of Secondary Education system and has continuous tests and assignments.
Campus[edit]
The campus is spread over five acres surrounded by natural beauty in the middle of greenery, and is situated in the heart of Patsa. The school buildings today comprise computer centres, a work-experience block; science, maths, biology, chemistry and physics laboratories; libraries, basketball courts, cricket grounds, a cafeteria, a hostel, and a clinic. Languages such as English, Hindi and Sanskrit are taught.
Co-Curricular Activities[edit]
Trekking, mountaineering, camping, rock climbing etc. are the regular activities for our[whose?] boys and girls. These will be organised regularly in association with reputed world class travel agencies, immaterial of the charges, for imparting hands on knowledge to the students.
Socially Useful Productive Work: this field has been included in the curriculum. It is compulsory for every student to put in the specified number of work hours to clear this subject for the Secondary and Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE. Introduction of this type of work in the curriculum inculcates proper interest, attitudes and values among the students.
Students' Council: The Students' Council comprises monitors from each class.
Activity Council: Six to eight conveners work under a Student Director, who in turn, works under the overall direction of the President, School Activities, assisted by a Secretary. There is a parallel set-up of teachers to guide the students and appointments. Games Captains (Boys & Girls): All Team Captains work under the overall direction of the Games Captains whose primary aim is to promote sportsmanship among all the students.
Environment Council: War is too serious to be left to professional soldiers - in the same way the case of environment is too vital a matter to be left only to government. This case has to be brought about by each one of us[who?] such that it does not remain a strategy plan but becomes a way of life. The environment council of ICPS Patsa works form the Green Crusader room situated on the first floor of the main building over looking the vast blue skyline, beautiful Lawn filters in the chirping of the birds sitting on the huge peepal tree at the main gate - a congenial place for the young environmentalist to plan and be proactive whether it is a 'River Yatra' - Talab bachoo - measuring and comparing the water table due to rain water harvesting -planning for celebrating Earth Day, Environment day, Wildlife week, khelo Holi naturally - making poster or collage designing logos, preparing Power point presentations on climate change, Save Tiger, Jungle Bachao. Members take up a range of activities with mercurial zeal. This room also witnesses the action plans for 'Jagrati'- A consumer awareness programme - Plans to sensitize the consumers about their rights and duties - to be an alert and sensible consumer.
