Ikenna Ikeme

Ikenna Ikeme (born 27 June 1970) is a Nigerian lawyer and telecommunications regulatory executive currently serving as the General Manager, Regulatory Affairs, MTN Nigeria Communications.[1]

Education and career[edit]

Ikeme attended University of Nigeria, Nsukka where graduated with a law degree in 1990 before proceeding to the Nigeria Law School where he qualified to practice law in 1991. In 2003, he obtained a Master of  Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.  Ikeme started his telecommunications career with Celtel Nigeria (since renamed Airtel) as Manager, Universal Service and Consumer Affairs in 2005 and was appointed Head of Division, Interconnect and Carrier Relations 2009. He joined Etisalat (now 9mobile) Nigeria as Head, Regulatory Strategy & Compliance in July 2009 until 2016, when he became Director, Regulatory & Corporate Social Responsibility in 2016.[2][3] He joined MTN Nigeria in February 2018 as General Manager, Regulatory Affairs.[4][5]
