Imagineer Technology Group is an American company with headquarters in New York City and offices in Chicago and Ukraine as well..[1] The company provides relationship management software for asset managers and allocators.

Company history[edit]

Imagineer was founded in 1998 by Erol Dusi as a consulting company, and in 2005 launched its products Clienteer and WebVision[2]

In 2018, Imagineer merged with Synap, a CRM software company founded in 2015[3]. As part of this move, Synap founder Jeremie Bacon became CEO[4] of Imagineer[5]. Based in Chicago, Bacon is also the Chairman of the Illinois Technology Association[6]. Dusi remained in the role of President.[7]

Products[edit]

Imagineer has two main products:

  • Clienteer: a relationship management platform designed for hedge funds and institutional asset managers. A web version of the platform was released in 2018.[8] As of July 2019, the platform has a rating of 4.5 stars out of five on Capterra.[9]
  • WebVision: a cloud-based platform built for asset managers and asset allocators. As of July 2019, WebVision has a rating of 4.5 stars out of five on Capterra.[10]

These tools are interoperable both with each other and with external tools through a set of APIs.[11] Imagineer makes use of DRM technology, which can allow users to open documents but not print, forward, or screenshot them, thus adding an additional layer of security to transactions.[12]
