Immortal is an upcoming Finnish English-language war action thriller film written and directed by Jalmari Helander about an ex-soldier who discovers gold in the Lapland wilderness tries to take the loot into the city, Nazi soldiers led by a brutal SS officer battle him. Cate Blanchett will executive produced the upcoming film and have a uncredited cameo role. Nordisk Film handles the Scandinavian distribution rights and Sony Pictures handles the worldwide distribution rights excluding Scandinavia.
