Index Exchange[1] is a Toronto-based advertising technology company, described as “a global advertising marketplace where premium digital media companies transact ad impressions with accountability and in real-time.”[2][3][4][5][6] In 2019, it was named “one of the 18 hottest adtech companies'' by Business Insider.[7]
Background and Financing[edit]
Index Exchange first launched as ad network Casale Media.[8][9] In 2011, the core of Casale Media’s business pivoted to become a digital ad exchange. As a result, it was renamed Index Exchange in 2015 and refocused on the header bidding and the sell-side.[10][11][12][13]
Employees and Offices[edit]
Index Exchange has more than 500 employees across 13 offices globally.[14][15][16][17]
