Indian Comics Fandom (Hindi: इंडियन कॉमिक्स फैंडम), often abbreviated as ICF, is a bilingual (Hindi, English) Indian magazine published by Freelance Talents. It was first published in October 2012 and is distributed in digital and print on demand formats. [1] [2]
Format and Content[edit]
The Magazine includes Indian comic and graphic novel industry news, comics creatives interviews, fan fiction, fan art, comic book reviews, histories, bio and comparisons of comics characters. Features include crossover section, events report, hero Histories of various characters and previews of upcoming series. Regular special editions are theme based like indie, translations, what if, adult, research, kids etc. Part of an experiment, ICF Volume 8 was a compilation of podcasts on Indian comics, fan fiction released on SoundCloud and other online audio distribution platforms in January 2015. Indian Comics Fandom Awards[edit]
Since 2012, the magazine organizes annual Indian Comics Fandom Awards for achievement in comic books and comics fandom with separate award categories for fans and comic-book professionals voted on by comics fans online. There are three winning positions in each category: Gold, Silver and Bronze.
