The Indian Society of Criminology (ISC) is an institution for the teaching, research and promotion of study of Criminal Law in India. It is located in Madras. The ISC was established in 1950 due to the efforts of Prof. (Dr.) K. Chockalingam, Founder Secretary, ISC.[1]
The Indian Society of Criminology has been notified in 1970 and have completed its 50 years and has big contribution in area of research and publication since 1973.[2]

The society has a Journal since 1973 titled Indian Journal of Criminology.[3]
