Indian religions or Indic religions are religions those originated from the Indian subcontinent. Dharma is an idea common to many of these religions.

Dharmic religions
The following religions are based on the ideology of Dharma:
- Ayyavazhi - originated from Tamil Nadu
- Buddhism - originated from Bihar
- Hinduism - originated from Haryana
- Jainism - originated from Gujarat
- Sikhism - originated in the Punjab region
Ethnic/folk religions
The following religions are not necessarily based on the concept of Dharma and have their own ideologies:
- Sanamahism - originated from Manipur
- Donyi Poloism - originated from Arunachal Pradesh
- Bathouism - originated from Assam
- Brahmo Samaj - originated in the Bengal region
