Indonesia Orthodox Church (Indonesian: Gereja Ortodoks Indonesia, simply GOI) is the legal name of the deaconry of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia in Indonesia.[1][2] It has approximately 2,500 members[1] and includes 13 parishes that spread in Java, Bali, Sumatra, Celebes, Timor and Papua.[citation needed] Ever since it was incorporated by the ROCOR into the Archdiocese of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand under Archbishop Hilarion Kapral[2] through the help of Archbishop Mark (Golovkov) in 2003, it has been headed by the Mitred Archimandrite Father Daniel.[1]
