Indonesia Orthodox Church (Indonesian: Gereja Ortodoks Indonesia, simply GOI) is the legal name of the deaconry of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia in Indonesia.[1][2] It has approximately 2,500 members[1] and includes 13 parishes that spread in Java, Bali, Sumatra, Celebes, Timor and Papua. Ever since it was incorporated by the ROCOR into the Archdiocese of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand under Archbishop Hilarion Kapral[2] through the help of Archbishop Mark (Golovkov) in 2003, it has been headed by the Mitred Archimandrite Father Daniel.[1]
