Inferna is a sandbox-oriented fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by German company Inferna Limited and will originally be published for Steam in 2019. A mobile version titled Inferna Mobile is in making and will release in 2020. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, known simply as Inferna, will be released in 2020. The game is free-to-play in all editions.
Gameplay[edit]
Inferna allows a player to create a character from a combination of four races. The four races being magician, warrior, assassin or semi-demon.[1]
The race of the player determines the skills they can access. Every race has his own skills. The skills can be upgraded by leveling and later on in different ways.
Experience points are earned every time the player kills enemies or completes a mission from an Non-player character. Players can also gather groups of creatures and land basic attacks and skills on each one of them simultaneously while they are all attacking the character at the same time.
Inferna has its own currency, used to purchase items from the different NPC's. Players can use this to trade with other players or to their own shop. Players can also make their own guild of fighters and guilds can have wars between each other.[2]
Setting[edit]
Inferna takes place in a high fantasy setting and revolves around the conflict between two rival nations, Caratas and Jerro.
Long ago, the four main areas, Esford, Orin, Caratas, and Jerro, united into a kingdom called Pangäus. This all changed in the Night of Infernumantis That night, cracks arose on the ground from which aggressive creatures appeared. These creatures attacked the peoples of Pangaeus.
The regions of Orin and Esford had disappeared after this night. As a result of these events, the kingdom od Pangäus broke into the two regions of Caratas and Jerro, which are still at war today.[3]
