Influence Akaba
Influence Akaba (born in 1980) Edo State, is a Nigerian indigenous singer from Benin City. He is known for releasing songs in Bini dialect. His most popular songs in Nigeria are "Dodorima", "Osamakue", and "Isè". In September 2018, he released "Osamakue" produced by Nigerian music producer Philtown. In 2019, Influence embarked on a music tour in United Kindom, and the same year he was invited to perform "Osamakue" at the Igue festival in New York after the song garnered over 1,000,000 views on YouTube. In 2020, his song "Osamakue" became an anthem in Nigeria and finally peaked at #62 on the iTunes Top 100 Songs chart in the Czech Republic.[1] His other song, "Isè", achieved the same feat, peaking at #72 on the iTunes Top 100 World Songs chart in Germany from March 16, 2020 to March 22, 2020.[2][3] In 2021, he was nominated by APCN Humanitarian Awards under the Category of Indigenous Artist of the Year.
