Infobitt is a project by Larry Sanger, which aims to develop a crowdsourced news aggregator.[1] Infobitt organizes news into "bitts", collections of facts drawn from news sources, which are contributed and edited by users. Bitts are sorted into categories, and at all times, ten bitts are labeled the current "Top Stories".[2] According to Sanger, Infobitt will be open content. As of 11 November 2014, they "haven’t finally decided which Creative Commons license we’ll use, but it’ll probably be CC-by-sa."[2]
