Innovo Management, LLC is an artist management and digital promotions company based in Nashville, TN.
History
At age 8, Sam Saideman moved from the United Kingdom to New York, where he became interested in rap music and eventually became a rapper himself.[1] After a legal dispute with the Philadelphia-based independent label that signed him, Saideman transferred to Belmont University to study Music Business and Entrepreneurship.[2] With then-roommate Ian Rodriguez, an audio engineering major at Belmont[3], the pair launched Innovo Management with a mission of putting artists first.[2] The self-financed company then grew 200% year over year and employed eight staff members as of November 2019,[2] including specialists in marketing and social media.[4] The company is headquartered in Nashville, TN.[4]
Work
Innovo currently provides management for YONAS, Zak Downtown, and Sam Johnston.[2] The company has produced concerts benefitting Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital,[5] Rock4Hunger,[6] and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention through The Saving Grace Project.[7]
Awards
Innovo was one of one hundred alumni businesses honored in the 2019 Belmont Entrepreneur Awards.[8] Rodriguez and Saideman were nominated for Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Nashville's NEXT Awards in 2015[9] and 2016[10][11] and Saideman was again nominated in 2019.[12][13]
