Integrated Memory System
Integrated Memory System (IMS, Korean: 운전석 자세 메모리 시스템) allows the driver to adjust the seat positions, side view mirrors as well as other features at the push of a button.[1][2]
Details[edit]
The system is especially useful when more than one driver shares a vehicle. For those who are the sole driver of their vehicles, it is good when they want to switch to their preferred settings for urban or high-speed driving.[3] Mostly, IMS buttons are placed on the door handle or next to memory seat buttons.[4][5]
The system works as follows:
- Move the driver's seat and side view mirrors as well as other features to where you want them.
- Push Set on the door control pad, Save the Setting from the cluster and Seat 1 or Seat 2 on the door control pad in order.
- Recall your preferred setting by pushing Seat 1 or Seat 2.
