IPS was established in Greenville, SC, in 2007 to provide comprehensive electrical and mechanical services. Integrated Power Services is the former power services unit of Reliance Electric, a leading manufacturer of industrial electric motors and power transmission components. Reliance Electric Power Services was included in Rockwell Automation’s sale of its Dodge/Reliance Electric division to Baldor Electric Company, a D/RE competitor based in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. In June 2007, Baldor sold Reliance Electric Power Services to a private equity firm.
