InterTrader is a UK-based company offering market financial derivatives such as spread betting and contracts for difference (CFDs). InterTrader became part of Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index, in 2010, and until 2016 was a trading name of London Capital Group (LCG).[1] It is currently owned and controlled by GVC Holdings PLC. The company’s activities are centred in the UK, but it is also active in Germany, France and Spain.

  • 2010- InterTrader.com was launched in January 2010 as a spread betting business by PartyGaming plc, to offer financial market trading services as part of PartyGaming’s suite of online gaming firms.[2]
    • CFD trading was added to the product range in July 2010.[3]
  • 2011- InterTrader.com became part of bwin.party.[4]
    • InterTrader.com was named Spread Betting Operator of the Year at the 2011 eGaming Review Awards.[5]
    • The firm launched its German website in 2011.[6]
  • 2012- The company expanded its online activity to France and Spain.
  • 2016- InterTrader.com and InterTraderDirect.com become separate entities. Subsequently, InterTraderDirect.com changed its name to InterTrader.com
