Inter Arma is an American post-metal/sludge metal/death metal/doom metal[1] band from Richmond, Virginia, founded in 2006.[2]

Musical style and influences[edit]

Their style of music is a wide mix of subgenres, including death metal[3], doom metal[4], and sludge metal[5], and including influences identified outside of heavy metal, such as southern rock[6]

Themes[edit]

The band touches on larger dark themes such as apocalypse and death[7], and more personal topics such as addiction and suicide [8]
