InterviewLegend is an online interview-preparation platform for software engineers. It provides company-specific study material covering the coding, system-design, and behavioral rounds used by individual technology companies, compiled from first-hand interview reports rather than generic advice.[1]
Overview
Unlike general coding-practice sites, InterviewLegend organizes its material by employer, mapping the interview process and commonly asked questions at each company across the coding, system-design, and behavioral stages. As of 2026 the platform publishes more than 100 company-specific guides, including large technology firms such as Google, Meta, Amazon and Stripe, as well as quantitative-finance and trading firms such as Jane Street, Citadel, Optiver and Hudson River Trading.[2]
In addition to the per-company guides, the site offers structured courses in data structures and algorithms and in system design, with runnable, in-browser coding practice.[1]
History
InterviewLegend was created by Alex Chen, a software engineer, and launched in 2026. The project began as an effort to aggregate and structure first-hand software-engineering interview reports into per-company preparation guides.[1]
Content
The platform's material is grouped into three areas that mirror a typical software-engineering interview loop:
- Coding – company-specific problem patterns and practice questions with an in-browser code runner.
- System design – worked design walkthroughs organized by company.
- Behavioral – the behavioral and values-based questions associated with each company.
