Irena Jordanova (born 8 September 1980) is a Macedonian writer.
Jordanova graduated from the Department of General and Comparative Literature at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje.[1] She published her first story titled "Ulici" (Streets) in a joint student publication named Presmetka kaj OKK.[2] Her first novel, Pomeǵu (In Between), was published in 2008 and was a finalist for the Novel of the Year Award by the daily newspaper Utrinski vesnik.[3] She took part in the International Biennial of Young Artists from Europe[4] in 2009. In 2010, her second novel, Katalizator 33 (The Catalyst 33), was published; in 2012, Jordanova self-published the English-language version via Kindle Direct Publishing on Amazon.[5][6] Her third novel Poslušen brod što plovi (Willing Floating Boat) was published in 2018.[1]
