Iris Apatow (/ˈæpətaʊ/; born October 22, 2002)[1][2] is an American actress and socialite, best known for portraying Arya Hopkins in the Netflix series Love and Krystal Kris in the 2022 Netflix film The Bubble .
She is the second daughter of filmmaker Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann. Apatow began her career playing the daughter of her mother's characters in her father's films(copied content from Maude Apatow) Knocked Up (2007), Funny People (2009), This Is 40 (2012), and Love (2016).
Early life and career
Iris Apatow was born on 22 October 2002 to actress Leslie Mann and filmmaker Judd Apatow.[3] She graduated high school in 2021.[3] Her sister is fellow actress Maude Apatow, who she worked with on This is 40 , Funny People , and Knocked Up , playing sisters.[4][5]
Apatow began acting at the age of five with a role in the 2007 film her father wrote, produced, and directed called Knocked Up.(copied content from Maude Apatow)[6][7]
In 2016, Apatow appeared on the Netflix series Love as Arya Hopkins, the young star of a TV series.[8]
In 2022, Apatow played Krystal Kris, a TikTok superstar who joins the Cliff Beasts 6 cast as the character Vivian Joy in the film The Bubble.
On TikTok, Apatow's name has become synonymous with Hollywood nepotism, along with likes of her sister, Kaia Gerber, and Lily-Rose Depp.[9]
Personal life
Apatow is currently dating Ryder Robinson, the son of actress Kate Hudson and singer Chris Robinson.[10][11]
Apatow is often photographed out with "best friend" singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo, as well as influencers Charli Damelio and Avani Gregg.[12][13]
