Islamophobia-phobia
Islamophobia-phobia (IPP) is fear of being labeled islamophobic.[citation needed]
Islamophobia-phobia is the fear, hatred or bigotry towards non-Muslims based on the assumption that all non-Muslims are islamophobic and conspiring against Islam.[citation needed] That leads to the failed integration of Muslims into non-Muslim communities and therefore, the continuous growth of islamophobia.[citation needed]
Whether Islamophobia leads to Islamophobia-phobia or whether Islamophobia-phobia has actually contributed to the spread of Islamophobia is debatable.[1][2][3] Writing in the New Humanist, Piers Benn argues that it "is essential to distinguish criticism of Islam both from fear of Islam, and from fear, hatred or contempt for Muslims. But all too often, moral criticism of Muslim practices, or scepticism about doctrines, is dismissed as Islamophobic."[4] Ali A. Rizvi, a Pakistani-Canadian writer says that the "phobia of being called “Islamophobic” is on the rise — and it’s becoming much more rampant, powerful, and dangerous than Islamophobia itself."[5]
