Ismail Lawal (born on April 27, 1987), better known as DJ Kentalky, is a Nigerian on air DJ and musician. In 2017 he hosted the Big Brother Nigeria house party and is widely known for his mixtape "Life Of The Party.[1][2].
Life and Career
He grew up in Lagos, being the first child among three siblings. He studied Mass Communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Ogun State. He started as a night club DJ performing in various clubs and events. He became known by many when he was hired as the official DJ for Lagos local radio station Naija FM 102.7[3][4] in Lagos where he worked between Lagos, Ibadan and Port Harcourt as the station's official DJ. In 2016 he released his first single called blessing[5][6] and went on to release Looking for me where he featured singer Skales, Yemi Alade and Harrysong[7][8]. Dj kentalky has released two mixtape albums life of the party[1] and man on duty[9]. In 2017 he was invited by Multichoice Africa to host the in house party for the house mates of the TV reality show Big Brother Nigeria[10][11]
