Issa family
Issa is an Arabic surname given to people who are descendants of Muhammad through his grandson Husayn ibn Ali son of Fatimah and Ali ibn Abi Talib. The Issa family is a family of Hashemite Quraishi origins. Because of their lineage, they are sometimes referred to as sayyids. They are also cousins of the Husseini family. Note that not all those with the Issa surname are of that lineage, but only those who reside in Mesghara as they are descendant to the Nour al deen clan which is directly descendant to imam musa al kadhim.
