Isuru Withanage (Sinhala: ඉසුර විතානගේ; born 16 October 1994) is a Sri Lankan singer, composer, YouTuber and songwriter. Isuru entered the mainstream music industry in 2012. "Aala Adawwa" is the hit song that boosted his career, establishing him as a prominent figure in the Sri Lankan music industry.[3]
Biography
Isuru Withanage was born on 16 October 1994 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He was educated at Kingswood College, Kandy. He graduated from ICBT with a specialised degree in BSc (Hons) in Business and Management Studies.[4][5]
Career
Isuru released singles such as "Nosithu Mohothaka" and "Diwura Hada Langa Dawatemin" when he was a teenager and was also an actor and a dancer, a talent he showcased in his music videos back in the day. Isuru has also been featured in other singles such as "Labaaganuma ma".[4] Isuru's breakthrough hit and most popular track is "Aala Adawwa".[3][5]
