Plot[edit]
Trixie Espinoza, daughter of Chloe Decker and Dan Espinoza, visits Lucifer Morningstar at his penthouse and has him tell her a story about his ring. Lucifer tells her about a visit to 1946 New York City where he encountered Lilith, mother of the demon Mazikeen, a chanteuse going by the stage name Lilly Rose who looks exactly like Mazikeen. Lilith, due to being owed by Lucifer, has him figure out who stole her ring. He finds Private Investigator Jack Monroe to help him. Jack is having marital difficulties with wife Shirley. They get a lead saying that Lucky Larry was behind the theft but shows up dead at Jack's front door. An informant for Jack says that Lucky Larry had an altercation with bratwurst heir William "Willy the Sausage Prince" Kincannon. Willy denies killing Larry, but says he buys rare objects from him on occasion. Finding a cigar stub at Larry's apartment, Lucifer and Jack deduce that it's from gangster Tommy Stompanato but is found dead with the Eye of Horus drawn on their face covered by a mask and heart ripped out. The symbol leads them to an Occult book store where they encounter Melvin the Magnificent. He informs that Lilith's ring is highly sought after for granting immortality. Since the ring is not really the reason for Lilith's immortality, Lucifer sets up a ruse to catch the thief, which turns out to be Willy. However, Gertie the bartender revealed she hired Larry to steal the ring to save her husband. Lilith decides to give up her immortality and puts it her ring that she gives to Lucifer and tells him not to tell her children so they remain strong and unbreakable. When he's finished Trixie retells the story to Maze, who paid Trixie to get the story from Lucifer. Maze goes to Reno, Nevada and finds an elderly Lilith but they do not reconcile.
