Iuliana Tudor (born 16 June 1977) is a Romanian entertainer, journalist and television presenter of folkloric television shows.
Born in Băicoi, she attended the Pedagogical High School in Ploiești, followed by the Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest and later Faculty of Music Pedagogy of the National University of Music.[citation needed]
She started her career in television for TVR1 where she presented for eight years and became a popular television star.[citation needed] In an interview, Tudor acknowledged that she learned the profession of presenter by "stealing"—more specifically, by hiding in the dark and watching more experienced presenters at work.[1] In another interview, she expressed gratitude to her former boss Valentin Nicolau, who once gave her a sum of money when she lacked funds for feeding her children.[2] In still another interview, she commented that there were years when she "sacrificed everything" for her passions.[3]
She then presented a weekly entertainment show Once in a Lifetime, TVR 1 broadcast every Friday night.[4] In March 2016, apropotv.ro published a photograph of Tudor at age 20.[5] On August 19, 2016, she was the invited guest on Dan Negru's Plasa de Stele - Răzbunarea vedetelor show.[6]
