Justin Jay Takagi (Japanese: ジャスティン ジェイ タカギ Hepburn: Takagi Justin Jay, born January 27, 2006), known mononymously as JJ (Hangul: 제이제이; Japanese: ジェージェー) is a Japanese K-pop artist based in South Korea. He is a former member of K-pop boy group Trainee A.
Takagi was born in Japan. In 2012, he started his career as a model in Japan. In 2020, he won gold medals in street dance competitions in Japan and he joined the Amezari Red Star Dance Crew. After leaving the dance crew, he started his career as a dancer and a K-pop artist in South Korea. He worked as a backup dancer of a K-pop boy group TVXQ! and was supposed to debut as a member of Trainee A in 2023, however, the debut of the group got cancelled.[1]
