Kaisei Takechi (武知海青 Takechi Kaisei, born 4 February 1998)[1] is a Japanese dancer, He is one of the performers of the Japanese group The Rampage from Exile Tribe.
Life and career[edit]
Takechi learned swimming in parallel to dance in his early childhood and in the 5th grade of elementary school, he participated in the Youth Olympic Games in Swimming (JOC Junior Olympic Cup).[2]
Since his mother runs a dance school called "T's-BOX" in Takarazuka, he had an environment where he can practice dance from a young age.[2]
Takechi was active in many units like "Radiation", "AVANTI" and "Rhsmmm" and has won numerous awards in contests.[2]
When he was in second grade of junior high school, he entered EXPG Osaka school[3] after watching Exile's performance on TV and became a scholarship student.
He is one of the members of a Krump dance crew "Rag Pound" with fellow members Kazuma Kawamura and Makoto Hasegawa.
In March 2014, He participated in EXILE PERFORMER BATTLE AUDITION and made it to the finals but was’t selected to join EXILE.
In April of the same year, he was announced as a candidate member of The Rampage, and in September he became an official member.[4]
