Jack and the Weatherman is a Dutch duo playing acoustic folk pop. The group consists of lead singer and guitarist Berry Krikken ("Jack") and Sebastiaan Weerman ("The Weatherman"), who sings second vocals and plays guitar. Their music is narrative, centred on life and the changes it brings.

Besides guitar, ukulele and two-part vocal harmonies, the duo also plays instruments such as harmonica, a foot tambourine and a stomp box (kick drum). They have written songs together since 2013 and release them on their own label, GlowBird Records. Since 2018, Jack and the Weatherman has performed as a full band with Stijn van Rijsbergen on drums and Thomas Veenstra on bass; both are also known for their work with the Dutch band Lucas Hamming. Their debut single "Free" was named a Serious Talent by Dutch radio station 3FM in October 2014 and became a hit, reaching more than four million plays on Spotify.

In April 2015, the duo released their second EP, Homewards. It was promoted with a 350-kilometre bicycle tour from Emmen to Haarlem, during which they gave a series of living-room concerts and radio performances, including one on Giel Beelen's morning show. The video for "This Town" was filmed in Haarlem. Their third EP, Some Kind of Purpose, followed in 2016.

In 2018, Jack and the Weatherman released their debut album The Lucky Ones at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. In September 2019, Daniël Dekker presented them with their first Gold Record on NPO Radio 2 for the single "Till the Sun Comes Up," which has since reached 12 million streams on Spotify. On 14 February 2020, the duo released the single "Closer." They have performed at numerous festivals in the Netherlands and abroad, including in England, France, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland.

They have opened for the Dutch band Chef'Special, the Australian bands Sticky Fingers and Xavier Rudd, the Canadian band Current Swell, and the South African band Jeremy Loops.
