Jaclyn Marie Fortier (born March 1, 1978) is an American mental health counselor, public speaker, and the founder of Carolina Counseling Wellness Associates (CCWA), a North Carolina–based mental health organization. She is known for her work in trauma-informed counseling, psychological safety in the workplace, and narrative-based approaches to emotional resilience.[1][2]

Early life and education
Fortier was born in Worcester, Massachusetts.[1] She later lived in Connecticut before entering the U.S. Navy, where she served prior to beginning her academic career.[2] She is a first-generation college graduate and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2004.[4]
She completed her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Webster University in 2008 and pursued advanced counseling coursework at Johns Hopkins University in 2013.[4]
