Jacob Gamaly (born Dar es Salaam, August 17) is a Tanzanian broadcaster, journalist and blogger.

Jacob Gamaly is well known for his work at Simba SC as an assistant to the team's former Spokesman Officer Haji Manara[1] who has moved to Yanga SC.

Along with other work in the Media department at Simba SC , Jacob was also involved in making sure the team's fans attend various matches of their team whether in or out of the country.[2]

In addition, Jacob was played a greater role for keeping Simba SC's marketing department active at all times, where part of Simba SC's current sponsors are due to his efforts in ensuring the team has multiple sources of revenue in collaboration's with other club officers in the marketing department.

Also, Jacob Gamaly has been heavily involved in ensuring that Simba SC's social media accounts[3][4][5] become active and profitable for club, as he is also the founder of Simba SC's Youtube channel[6] along with social media pages for youth[7] and women's[8] teams. .

Jacob joined Simba 2017 as a Personal Assistant to the team's Spokesperson, before being given the role of team's fan secretary.

During the leadership of the Chief Executive, Senzo Mazingiza, Jacob was restored to his former position where he was an Assistant to the Media and Marketing Officer, a unit he served until he left Simba SC October 2020.[9]

He first came to prominence after joining Chama cha Mapinduzi Media Company under it's brand Uhuru Publication and Uhuru Radio[10] in 2014 before 2016 joining Dar es Salaam City FM Radio Radio. Jacob Gamaly, also owns sports news website[11] which is one of the best and leading website in Tanzania for publishing sports news especially football. In addition, Jacob has a channel on YouTube called Soka la Bongo.[12] The channel provides a variety of information and events as an online television.

Jacob Gamaly has become famous in East Africa and Africa in generally for his speed in publishing various sports news as soon as it happens[13][14], also through his commitments in football, he has become a key figure in the Tanzania media sports industry especially considering his contribution to a football game.
