Taji George Liundi (born in Tanzania) is a Tanzanian prominent professional media enthusiast and government, corporate presenter. Also is a first person to air Bongo Flava genre music from the media platforms in the early 90's.[1]

Background[edit]

Taji is a son of a late former diplomat and Deputy Attorney General of Tanzania Hon. George Liundi.[2]

Career[edit]

His career in the media started at Radio One Station under IPP Media house in early 1990's. Taji Liundi also known as Master T, was the earliest pioneer of Bongo Flava music genre across radio waves in his country and across East Africa. Him and later Mike Muhagama were the host of the DJ show program that aired songs from local artistes since late 1994 to boost their recognition against other popular music genres such as rap or hip pop. He was in media business for quite a long period, working with other media houses, such as Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation, Clouds Media House, Times Fm, Azam Media House and more. As for 17 years he is still working as Master of Ceremonies on government events, corporate, weddings and other development functions.[3] [4]
