Jagat Singh (born 4 September) is an Indian actor. He is best known for his roles of Prince Devdutta on Zee TV's historical drama Buddha- The King Of Kings (2013) and Bulbul Singh in Prakash Jha film production, Satyagraha.

Early life[edit]

Jagat Singh was born and raised in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India with his family, one sister and one brother. He attended high school at Tagore Public School, and graduated with a Degree in Geology and Chemistry from Maharaja College, University of Rajasthan.

Career[edit]

Jagat decided to move to Mumbai in 2001 to pursue his dreams to become an actor. In 2004, Jagat landed his first role in Khoob Milai Jodi, which was a small film production produced by Dedipya Joshi and directed by Sanjeev Bohrapi, also appeared in Vajra: The Weapon (2005) as Vijay, and Ho Jata Hai Pyaar (2006) as Ajay.

In 2011, Jagat starred in Chakravyuh as Keshav directed by Prakash Jha. Later on in 2013, Jagat went for for audition of the Buddha on Zee TV, he got his role as a cousin of Gautama Siddhārtha as Prince Devdutta, which broadcast in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Peru. That same year, he also portrayed BulBul Singh in Satyagraha and co-starred Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai, Mitalee Jagtap Varadkar, Amrita Rao, and Vipin Sharma.[1]

In 2014, Jagat appeared in a short film Mumbai Hates directed by Nilesh Pal, which was about Mumbai riots in 1992. He also starred as a doctor in The Journey of Her Smile, a short film directed by Sucheta Phule.

In 2015, Jagat starred in a Bollywood comedy film, Crazy Cukkad Family. He also received a role in Prakash Jha’s film production, Jai Gangaajal, which will be released on 4 March 2016, and will be starred in the upcoming film, Lipstick wale sapne in 2016.

Apart from acting career, Jagat also works as a celebrity fitness trainer.[2] He has experience in training and giving fitness consultation to celebrity clients.
