Jamil Hannibal Wilson, better known as Jahan Nostra, is an American Rapper and Songwriter from Stamford, Connecticut.[1][2][3][4] He has released 3 full length albums: The Bedtime Street Album (2012), Sleepwalking (2013) and ESP (2016).[5] Jahan Nostra has collaborated with the legendary Hip Hop duo Smif-N-Wessun, Tone Trump, Ceschi, Omar Wilson and Hakim Green (of Channel Live).[6][7][8][9][10][11][12]

Jahan Nostra has won several awards for his achievements in music and film.[32] Jahan Nostra and Ceschi won Best Music Video at the 2019 Hip Hop Film Festival for their groundbreaking music video El Chapo.[33][34][35][36] Jahan Nostra and Ceschi also won Best Male Artist at the Atlanta Urban Mediamakers Festival and Best Vocalist at the NYC Infest Festival for their joint performance on the El Chapo song and music video.[37] Jahan Nostra also won Best Music Video at the 2019 Golden Door Film Festival for his music video Embrace The Rain, which highlights the issue of youth homelessness.[38][39][40][41][42]
