Jake Batty (born 5 April 2005) is an English professional footballer who plays for Championship club Blackburn Rovers as a left back.

Club Career

On 10 August 2022, Batty was named on the bench for the game in the EFL Cup against Hartlepool United he came off the bench in the 78th minute for Tayo Edun to make his professional debut in a 4-0 victory at home at Ewood Park, he made his debut alongside Ashley Phillips & Adam Wharton who both started the game.[1][2][3][4][5]

On 25 October 2022, Batty signed his 1st professional contract.[6]

International Career

In November 2021, Batty was called up alongside fellow Rovers player Ashley Phillips to represent the England U17s and was selected again for games against Scotland in February, coming on for his debut in a 3-0 win, before starting the second friendly, which ended in a 2-2 draw. He then started a qualification match against Luxembourg.[7]
