Francesco Vigorelli (born February 25, 1979) better known by the stage name Jake La Furia is an Italian rapper. He is a member of the hip hop duo Club Dogo with rapper Gué Pequeno and producer Don Joe.
History[edit]
Sacre Scuole[edit]
In 1999 Francesco and Sacre Scuole released their debut album with the group, 3 MC's al Cubo. In 2001 arguments between Francesco and D'Amico lead to the group splitting apart. Jake and Gué Pequeno formed together with Don Joe to make the Club Dogo group while D'Amico undertook a solo path. However, the two made peace later and D'Amico collaborated on a song from the first Club Dogo album.
Club Dogo[edit]
Club Dogo released their debut album Mi Fist in 2003. In 2006 the second album, Penna capital released. In 2007 they released their third album Vile Money, their first album under a major label, EMI Records. After this album, their talent begins to be recognized by other majors. This led them to sign a contract with Universal Records. The first record to come out under this label is Dogocrazia which contains many collaborations with other artists of the Italian hip hop scene and two with the US artists Kool G Rap and Infamous Mobb.
Solo career[edit]
In October 2012, in an interview with Panorama, Francesco announced that he had started work on a solo album.[2] On September 10, 2013 the video clip of the song Musica Commerciale was published on YouTube,[3] the opening track of the album of the same name released on October 29 of the same year.[4] Ten days later, the single Inno Nazionale was released on the iTunes Store,[5] which peaked at number 14 on the Italian singles chart. Commercial Musicit debuted at the second position of the Italian album chart[6] and in May 2014 it was certified gold for having reached the threshold of 25,000 copies sold.[7] Together with the album the song Esercizio Di Stile debuted at number 92 of the Italian singles chart.[8]
On July 17, 2020 he announced the release of the album 17 in collaboration with Emis Killa and promoted by the single Malandrino.
