Reverend Jame John is an ordained pastor of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC), and a christian evangelist, as well as an upcoming leader in the pentecostal community. Along with his wife Ansu, he established New Hope Pentecostal Church in Toronto, Canada, and currently serves as the Senior Pastor. In 2014, Pastor John was elected as the National Youth Coordinator of the Pentecostal Conference of North American Keralites (PCNAK). He was also elected to represent Canada at the North American Family Conference of IPC, in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Pastor John was born and raised in Kerala, India. His parents, Rev Dr K C John and Mrs Praise John are involved in christian ministry affiliated with the IPC. Growing up, John was involved in various church activities in Thiruvalla area. Recognizing the call of God on his life at an early age, John committed his life for christian ministry, and received preliminary Bible training at the Gospel Center Bible Institute, Kerala. He was publicly consecrated for full-time ministry on April 2nd, 1994, and joined as ministry staff evangelist at Gospel Center Church. Over the years, his experiences expanded into leadership roles in PYPA (youth and young adult ministries of IPC), and Sunday School, at local, district and zonal levels.

After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, John pursued his theological education and ministry training in India, United States and Canada. He was ordained as Pastor on June 27, 1999, in Queens, NY, by the General Council Executives and North American Regional Officials of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God. While furthering his theological studies in the United States, John volunteered at various churches in several different ministry positions which helped him gain unique understanding and experience in cross-cultural and inter-generational fields. From 1998-99, he served full-time as the Youth Pastor at Shalem Pentecostal Tabernacle, Elmont, NY.

Rev John married his beloved wife Ansu Anna John on September 19, 2001 in India, and soon after they relocated to Canada. Rev John received scholarship and obtained his Masters in Theology from Canada Christian College. Following his graduation in 2003, he became the Senior Pastor of Lakeside Community Church in the heart of Toronto and served in that capacity for six years.

In 2009, Pastor Jame along with his wife Ansu pioneered New Hope Pentecostal Church, in North York (suburb of Toronto), of which he is the founder and Senior Pastor. His passion and commitment to preaching the Word of God and serving the congregation by providing pastoral care, spiritual counseling and godly leadership is evident in the positive impact on many lives. He is a great asset to the Kingdom of God and to the community he lives in. Pastor Jame John and his wife Ansu are blessed with 2 children Joanna (10) and Joella (7).
