Janan's Kitchen, is a women-owned and run restaurant and bakery that is located in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, West Bank, Palestine, which provides a wide range of traditional Palestinian cuisine and food.[1] [2] [3] [4]
It was founded in 2013 by the chef Janan Nassar,[5] a mother of four.[6] [7]
It was ranked by "The Culture Trip" as one of "The Top 10 Restaurants In Ramallah".[8] The owner of the restaurant was interviewed by many local and international media agencies such as the Hebron based Al-Alam Radio Station,[9] [10] Roya TV[11] from Jordan, the Syrian Satellite Channel, Syria TV,[12] [13] and the Dutch Fanack Chronicle.[14]
Janan's Kitchen hosted fun and food activities for the elderly and especially for the SOS Children's Villages and the children of the Ramallah Evangelical Home[15] [16] on different occasions such as the "Mothers Day", "Valentines Day", and "International Women's Day".[17] [18] [19] [20] [21]
