Jasdeep Singh (born 1 August 1991), also known as Jasdeep Jogi is an Indian Singer, Songwriter, Composer and Performing Artist.[1]
Early Life
Jasdeep was born in the town Nanakmatta Sahib in Udham Sing Nagar district of Uttarakhand. He did his elementary schooling at Shri Guru Nanak Academy.
He was drawn towards music from childhood, but it was only after he completed his intermediate that he started his music training.[2]
Education
In 2012, Jasdeep decided to take music seriously and pursue his career in it. He studied music at Km College of Music and Technology (AR Rahman Foundation). During this time, he performed at various events. He was also a part of a theatre group called Crea-Shakti where he learned the basics of acting and also performed a show called How to Train your Zombies.[3]
Music Career
In June 2019, his rendition of a Tamil song "Innum Konjam Naeram" received a huge response after it was tweeted by AR Rahman. In August 2019, he was invited to perform at India Day Celebration in Sydney, Australia after which he was interviewed by SBS Radio.[4]
His latest Punjabi single "Supne" (Shattered Dreams)[5], which was released in May 2020 on all streaming platforms including Youtube was a success and received great love from the audience.
