Jason P. Brinton
Jason P. Brinton is an American specialist ophthalmic surgeon, an associate professor at the University of Missouri and associate faculty member in Refractive Surgery for Faculty of 1000[1][2][3][4][5]. He is the founder of Brinton Vision, a laser eye surgery center in St. Louis, Missouri.[6][7][8] He is a fellow of Durrie Vision and a board-certified member of the American Board of Ophthalmology.[9][10] Brinton specializes in the field of refractive surgery and Lasik.[11] He has been an investigator on eleven U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clinical trials and serves on the editorial board member for Ocular Surgery News. Brinton has co-authored more than 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.[12][13][14]
Career[edit]
Brinton started his career at McKinsey & Company as an associate consultant. In 2012, he completed his fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery from Durrie Vision and stayed there as associate until 2014.[15] During his time at Durrie Vision, he was also working as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.[16] In 2014, he was appointed as a member of the editorial board in the refractive surgery section at the Ocular Surgery News and also joined Hunter Vision at Orlando, Florida, as an associate. In 2016, he started his own lasik surgery centre, Brinton Vision at St. Louis, Missouri.[17][18][19][20]
